Well, we're about...(checks watch)...5 months into the COVID-19 pandemic, and if you're anything like me, you're just about dying of boredom. (By the way, just kidding about the watch. I don't own one, and time seems meaningless lately anyway.)
Depending on your work and family life, you might either be chaotically anxious from trying to manage everything, or you might be where I am at, which is anxious from not having enough to do. Wherever you are at, you have my sympathy. It's very hard, no matter your circumstances, to live in a constant state of not exactly knowing what the future if going to look like with things as mundane as going back to school, where you can get healthcare, or even when you'll be able to regularly see friends and family in a safe way.
Here is a big ole, chunky list of # things you can to have fun or keep yourself busy during this uncertain time. And don't forget that while doing things to eat up time can be good for you, it's also good to relax and sometimes do nothing at all.
Stay safe out there, friends!
20 Fun or Productive Things to Do While Bored During COVID-19
Have a spa day. Give yourself a manicure, or take a bubble bath and do a mask.
Try yoga or meditation. I highly recommend Yoga with Adrienne or Yoga with Bird.
Write in a journal, or explore online therapy or apps. You could also start a blog like this one!
Read a book. If you're into the self-help genre, check out my list of recs here.

Watch something on Netflix that is out of the usual for you. For example, I don't generally like the horror genre, but I've gotten into it a bit more lately.
If you're not already doing this, cook something from scratch or try baking. I plan on doing a future post with my favorite baking recipes, but here's a solid one to get you started that isn't difficult.
Do something active outside, like hiking or biking. It's fun to explore new places, it's a workout, and you're probably socially distancing no problem.

Write a letter to your future self, your future kids(if you want to get metal lol), or you could even write letters to people in your past if you're feeling therapeutic.
Pack a picnic, or order takeout from a local place in town. You could take it to a park, or picnic on your own balcony or patio.
Plan or research a future trip. While big trips can be fun to daydream about, small weekend trips can feel more real when planning them.
Call a friend or relative you haven't spoken to in awhile.
Rearrange your furniture or decor. This is on my list to do; it's a great way to refresh your home.
Make a vision board using cardboard, poster board and some old magazines. Here is mine, in the works!

Get in the car and explore your town or the surrounding area. Just make sure to take a fully charged phone with you in case you get lost and need directions back.
Finally find an exercise routine that works for you. If you're anything like me, finding a routine to stick to is hard, but now is a good time to really invest in yourself while you have the time.
If your home could use some major cleaning, consider doing the whole Marie Kondo thing. It would definitely eat up some time.
Look for free, online classes to try. For example, I'm working on Yale's famous happiness course and I'm really enjoying it so far.
Do a detox of your social media accounts.
Start an indoor herb garden or a balcony garden. You can read some of my experiences and tips with small-time gardening here.

Look for a side hustle you can do from home, or for after it's safer to be out and about. For example, I make extra money by being a personal shopper. I'm taking a break from it now to limit how much I'm going out and being around people, but I plan on getting back to it later. It's a really good way to save up.
